PWA Fin Racing is back and we have an unbeatable package for you! Over the last 3 years Dani Aeberli (product manager boards) and Vasin Siritho (implementation + QC manager boards) have worked out a technology being worthy to qualify for the D/LAB label. Instead of the usual semi-custom technology we are now using a 100% full custom technology. We call this FULL CUSTOM CNC TECHNOLOGY (please find all details below under TECH FEATURES).Even before hitting the water you can already get an idea of what to expect. Simply lift the board and you will be shocked how light it is. Then knock on the hull and you immediately realise how stiff the board is. THE HIGHLY SPORTY, COMPETITIVE SLALOM SAIL WITH UNBELIEVABLE FORWARD PULL - THE S_PACE CRAVES FOR SPEED AND YET IS EASY TO HANDLE. IT CARRIES THE RACING GENES OF THE WARP FOR UNRESTRICTED POWER DELIVERY, BUT AT THE SAME TIME THE HANDLING IS EXTRAORDINARILY SIMPLE FOR THIS CLASS. The base is the revolutionary 3 IN 1 DESIGN that Kai has developed over a period of 3 years, which allows an unprecedented trim range. Together with the three brand-new HYPER CAM 2.0, a tremendously wide range of use is the result: Adjusting the S_PACE trim for low- or high end conditions fundamentally changes the sail, which makes it possible to achieve maximum performance across all wind conditions! The new S_PACE featuring the 3 IN 1 DESIGN is the perfect symbiosis of our most successful race slalom and freeride sails: whether V-Max, maximum acceleration or used as a sporty foil engine, the S_PACE is the most versatile cam sail on the market. With this sail designer Kai Hopf combines the top performance of the WARP with a very balanced sailing behaviour and a much wider range of use. This is achieved through a greatly reduced and almost straight luff curve in the upper area. This causes changes in the luffing tension to have a very large effect on the leech. Low downhaul tension results in a very tight leech, high tension leads to a very pronounced loose leech. The two extremely far apart positioned MIN and MAX trim points are proof of testament that the 3 IN 1 DESIGN covers an incredibly wide wind range. On top the S_PACE shows a completely different high- or low end performance and sail character depending on the trim. On MIN setting with tight leech, it’s supper effective to pump, accelerates very efficiently and feels incredibly light - ideal also for foiling. On MAX trim, however, the S_PACE feels very similar to the WARP, constantly getting faster without limits. Three new, length-adjustable HYPER CAMS 2.0 ensure unique draft- and profile stability yet smooth rotation. Particularly noticeable is the highly tapered luff sleeve in the AERO SLEEVE DESIGN 2.0. Its width in the aerodynamically important boom area enables the optimal transition from the “thick” mast leading edge to the “thin” sail body. However, at the top of the sail the luff sleeve has remained relatively narrow to enable fast water starts. This is supported by the LUFF LIFT DESIGN of the WARP 20.20, which provides additional lift. Simply awesome: When used for foiling the S_PACE features a special clew eyelet to be able to position the sail even more upright!

The E_PACE SLS was born from a very ambitious design briefing and therefore required 2 years of intensive development. Based on the incredibly versatile original E_PACE the goal for the SLS version was to achieve a racier feeling combined with improved acceleration and power compared to other no-cam freerace sails. Following the SLS philosophy we also wanted to create the lightest no-cam freerace film sail on the market but without sacrificing the durability. The outcome is simply spectacular as the E_PACE SLS is the fastest and lightest no-cam freerace sail we have every made. A more forward oriented draft position gives the E_PACE SLS a racy feeling very similar to the S_PACE or WARP. To prevent this forward motion from creating a catapult tendency the leech is slightly more open which also improves the high-end control (= v-max). The intelligent use of CARBON XPLY in the high load clew and top area results in the most effective conversion of wind energy into forward motion. However, the slightly more (re)flexing regular XPLY in the body avoids the power from becoming uncontrollable. A common characteristic from many other no-cam freerace sails is to significantly compromise low-end performance in search of top end speed. To avoid this we increased the pre-shaping of the sail which improves the acceleration and power despite the opened-up leech. Another milestone of the intensive development is a weight reduction of a whopping 500g making the E_Pace SLS the lightest no-cam freerace film sail on the market. We achieved this through our STRIPPED TO THE MAX reduction in optic, our unique ONE-PIECE SLEEVE and single layer high-tech reinforcement patches replacing the usual 5-layer patches. However, the thickness of the panels has not been reduced resulting in the E_ PACE SLS having the best low weight vs. strength ratio on the market. We back this up with our 5 YEAR WARRANTY extension - something no other brand can offer! Attention: 1. The increased pre-shaping requires a higher outhaul tension than the original E_PACE (approx. 2 cm more eyelet tension = 8 cm more rope tension). This additional pre-shaping also means that the lower battens of E_ PACE SLS will not rotate as easy as the original E_ PACE in non-planing/drifting conditions. Or in other words the E_ PACE SLS requires a more active jibing technique over the backhand. 2. Because the E_ PACE SLS is a more uncompromising performance sail than the original E_ PACE it has a smaller downhaul trim range.

The GRIP (Quad) D/LAB CUSTOMIZED is truly like nothing else and will take your wave riding to the next level! Similar to what we have achieved with the SUPER_HERO D/LAB sails our goal was to create real game changers with our new wave board range.What we had learned from the SUPER_HERO D/LAB development is that you need to work on all aspects to really make a decisive improvement.Switching our board technology from the industry-standard semi custom technology to our exclusive FULL CUSTOM PRODUCTION marked the foundation for all the rest to come (see TECH AND SHAPE DETAILS below for details). Because this technology lifted our weight vs. strength ratio to a whole new level. And it finally allowed us to make every single prototype in the factory like we are doing with our sails since over 30 years. Because the best prototype is worth nothing if it can't be reproduced or feels different due to different materials, processes or weight.To achieve a similar step up in the 3D design we decided to get our own CAD program written. Compared to the industry-standard Shape3D software our DT_BOARD_3D program is much more accurate and lets us perform even super complex shaping tasks like the brand-new SYNCED CURVES CONCEPT.DESIGN GOALS >> SHAPE DETAILS Our main goals were to create designs which have a maximum range of use and are easier (less exhausting) plus more radical on the wave.Basically we wanted to create a more stable platform which is great for getting going and going over the white water. But at the same time the boards should turn even more radical when going down the line, which are opposing features you usually can't combine.Here are the 3 major shape details our team has developed over the last 2,5 years (see TECH AND SHAPE DETAILS below for all other details):STABLE YET RADICAL CONCEPTOur wave boards are 1-2cm wider than most other boards. The increased width results in a more stable platform. This makes our wave boards as stable and energy-saving as a 5 liter bigger board while drifting/floating and going over white water. Most importantly the additional width leads to an increased outline curve. This improves the maneuverability which makes the board turn as radical as a 5 liter smaller board. The result is an unbeatable broad range of use.3-STAGE ROCKERUnlike the usual continuous rocker curve, our entire shape concept is based on a segmented rocker line. This accounts for the fact that the top- and bottom turn are two entirely different maneuvers. While you initiate the bottom turn more over your front foot (depending on the size of the wave) the top turn is only sailed over the back foot. This change in posture is the biggest challenge, especially when learning to wave ride - which becomes much easier with our 3-STAGE ROCKER.The straight rocker section in-between the front- and back straps creates a super stable sailing stance/platform so that you’re in perfect sync with your board going out or on the wave when switching between bottom- and top turn.The nose rocker starts just in front of the front straps which helps to engage the front part of the rail when leaning forward on the bottom turn.KICKSTARTER TAIL: The tail rocker behind the back strap remains very moderate until the last 4-5cm from the tail where it transforms into a progressive tail-kick. This tail-kick generates a perfect water release and in combination with the flat rocker line results in a kickstarter-like acceleration as soon as you push a bit with your back-foot. Plus the tail-kick obviously allows for super tight top turns when snapping back the board with your back-foot.SYNCED CURVES CONCEPT (rocker><outline><rail)Outline, rocker and rail shape are the 3 key elements that determine how a board feels and performs. In every rocker- and outline there are spots with more or less curvature. The same applies to the degree of rail curvature which changes considerably. To prevent the 3 curves from working "against" each other, the highest priority is to synchronize these curves. Means that in zones with an increased rocker curve, the outline curve is also increased plus the rails have an increased curvature and vice versa.Increased outline curve, nose rocker and rail curvature around the mast track makes it easier to initiate the bottom turn (front foot initiated)Increased outline curve, tail rocker and rail curvature behind the back strap for more radical top turns (back foot initiated)To our knowledge this complex 3D task can only be performed by our own AI_BOARD_3D software.We started testing this concept on existing boards and the improvements to each board were so overwhelming that we incorporated this design feature into all 2026 boards. Both GRIP and ULTRA GRIP are designed as World Cup Wave boards to satisfy the best of the best on all kind of conditions and spots around the globe. SUPER_HERO D/LAB - creating the sail of your dreams! Imagine a world where restrictions in sail design and construction would cease to exist. how would the sail of your dreams look like? The SUPER_HERO D/LAB is the biggest evolution on a wave sail in our history deservedly carrying the D/LAB label. Because for us, D/LAB represents the maximum technically achievable, giving a glimpse into the future.3 things set the SUPER_HERO D/LAB apart from any other sail out there:1.       Unseen wind rangeUnbelievable but true the wind range is extended in both directions means it gets planning earlier while offering more high-end control. To give you a better idea on the Original SUPER_HERO a typical quiver is 5.3 – 4.7 – 4.2. With the SUPER_HERO D/LAB though you can go 5.0 – 4.2 and cover the same range!2.       Ultra-light ON THE WATERThe physical weight is just one side of the medal. As usual though the real truth happens on the water. The sailing weight describes how light the sail feels in your hands while sailing. It is a combination of the physical weight but more importantly the sail’s dynamic. Therefore we are only interested in the so called sailing weight. A responsive/dynamic sail feels lighter in your hands. On the other hand a spongy sail feels heavier in your hands “eating up” much of the physical weight advantage. Technora/Dyneema and Kevlar have a high tear strength, but are not very stiff (only similar stiffness than the Polyester monofilm). Therefore, if being reduced in thickness to save weight (membrane and laminated or composite sails), these sails tend to become quite spongy and dull to ride. This sponginess results in a less efficient sail with a reduced wind range (especially when overpowered). Carbon, on the other hand, is approx. 3-4 times stiffer than Technora/Dyneema and Kevlar. Using our INTELLIGENT CARBON XPLY CONSTRUCTION we have found the ideal balance. The CARBON XPLY in the high load clew, top and tack areas guarantee unsurpassed low stretch and power transmission. However, the slightly more (re)flexing regular XPly in the body avoids the power from becoming uncontrollable. This makes the SUPER_HERO D/LAB extremely responsive and dynamic. In combination with the very low physical weight this results in the lowest possible sailing weight. There is no sail that feels lighter in your hands than the SUPER_HERO D/LAB!3.       Ultra-light without any sacrifice on durabilityThe easy and usual way to bring down the weight is by reducing the film/laminate thickness. Unfortunately reducing the film thickness has an over-proportional effect on the wear resistance and longevity in general. This is the reasons why reducing the weight the easy way by just reducing the skin thickness has never been an option for us - because all our products are designed and engineered according to our motto “LIGHT DONE RIGHT”.For the SUPER_HERO D/LAB we use the same film/laminate thickness as with our bomb-proof Original SUPER_HERO. The fusion bonding joining the panels are much stronger than traditional sewing (actually the fusion bonding is even stronger than the materials itself). Hard to believe but experience has shown that the SUPER_HERO D/LAB is even stronger than the Original SUPER_HERO. We back this up with our industry-leading 5 YEAR WARRANTY, something no other brand is able to offer.Using the SUPER_HERO D/LAB for the first time it feels as if your body becomes united with the sail and you are truly connected with the waves. That's why we didn't go the usual route of creating an "easy going" freemove board and then trying to implement as much classic wave and freestyle skills into the shape. In every rocker- and outline there are spots with more or less curvature. The same applies to the degree of rail curvature which changes considerably. To prevent the 3 curves from working "against" each other, the highest priority is to synchronize these curves.
