With the use of Dacron and vinyl, the ALFA is virtually indestructible, making it ideal for use in windsurfing schools. Thanks to the elastic nature of the Dacron material and its unique shape, the ALFA loads up very gently and develops a full profile. As a result, it generates powerful propulsion and has excellent planing characteristics. Moreover, the draft position remains stable even when far into the planing range.

SIMILAR TO THE S_PACE THE BRAND-NEW F_PACE CAM IS DIRECTLY DERIVED FROM OUR WARP RACING PROGRAM. IT CARRIES THE RACING GENES OF OUR PWA WORLD CHAMPION SAIL WARP_FOIL FOR MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE, BUT AT THE SAME TIME THE HANDLING IS EXCEPTIONALLY EASY FOR THIS CLASS. Compared to traditional fin sailing you have approximately 70% less drag on the foil. We were the first brand to understand that it requires a totally different sail design (profile, twist pattern, aspect ratio) to match the low-drag hydrofoils. The most important factor for performance foil sails is the balance between control and performance/speed over a maximum wind range combined with effortless handling. Compared to the regular F_PACE the F_PACE CAM features an additional 6th batten and 2 HYPER CAM 2.0 + 2 SLEEVE INDUCERS. In addition the F_PACE CAM is designed around SDM masts. All this leads to a much more performance oriented behavior over a huge wind range. The high aspect outline with reduced top surface corresponds perfectly with the low water resistance of the hydrofoil and the almost non-existent lateral forces. With less movement in the top, the rig remains stable over the board, for maximum control yet very reactive. The foot closes perfectly with the deck and allows for extreme angles against the wind with the extended foot batten – yet thanks to the extremely concave outline without any negative influence to the handling! All sizes are now equipped with an XPly top panel. The slightly more elastic XPly improves control in high winds and keeps the leech stable. Another major improvement to enhance control is the reduced profile at batten 6 which shifts the main power to the center. In our eyes, the F_PACE CAM redefines the benchmark of control : performance : wind-range ratio. And all of this combined with effortless handling and super smooth rotation so that even intermediate riders can choose the F_PACE CAM.

FOILSAILING IS MORE POPULAR THAN EVER AND IS DEVELOPING RAPIDLY. MEANWHILE, IN ADDITION TO CLASSIC FOILRIDING, FOILSTYLING AS A PLAYFUL VARIATION WITH A CLEAR LEANING TOWARDS FREESTYLE IS CAUSING A LOT OF EXCITEMENT AND UNLIMITED POSSIBILITIES. BOTH “PLAYGROUNDS” HAVE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS THAT REGULAR FIN SAILS CANNOT MEET. This is exactly why the completely redesigned F_PACE range consists of two differently designed models, which up to size 5.8 are clearly described as F_PACE STYLE while 6.4 and 7.4 come as F_PACE RIDE. But both designs have one thing in common: they are spiked with innumerable, foil-specific design features that have a decisive influence on performance and result in extraordinary characteristics in their respective spectrum. Only 4 (STYLE) or 5 (RIDE) battens, a super short boom and a reduced luff curve combine to produce a favourably soft and very light foil sail. Together with the tight leech, they allow the F_PACE to start flying even with the slightest breeze. Should it really be necessary to pump, the low sail foil tension immediately builds up propulsion and effective acceleration. Especially on the F_PACE STYLE the extremely short boom, 4 super easy rotating battens and the low weight result in a playful handling that difficult manoeuvres and moves require: a lot of propulsion, minimized swing weight and - if necessary - spontaneous on-off. The X_PACE project was born out of a personal demand from some of the o-50 guys in our department. Having been dedicated cam sail racers back in the days the wheel of time took its toll. Lifting a cam-sail being filled with water has simply become a dealbreaker. But these guys still have the speed-skills of being the fastest at their local spot.The biggest hurdle was to generate a similar pre-shaping including a “hump” in the luff panel even without cambers. After 2 years of development we have achieved this with a completely unique shaping concept which induces a similar (pre)shaping into the luff panel like seen on cambered racing sails. This heavy pre-shaping has also led to another decisive advantage as it allows to use RDM masts. Usually RDM masts do not work on sails bigger than 6.5 as they are simply too soft. But the pre-shaping of the X_PACE compensates for this to such an extent that there is no loss of performance compared to SDM masts.Please note though that this heavy pre-shaping requires an active jibing technique especially in underpowered conditions. After shifting make sure to grip more than shoulder-wide and initiate the rotation through sheeting in with your backhand. When it comes to most effortless rotation, the E_PACE remains the top choice.The X_PACE generates power, acceleration, speed and a locked-in feel that rivals any cambered sail. For 2026 the S_PACE has received its biggest update since its introduction in 2020. With the changes implemented we were able to significantly improve the high-end performance as well as the handling (details please see below). However, the unique design principles remain unchanged. The base is the revolutionary 3 IN 1 DESIGN which allows an unprecedented trim range. Adjusting the S_PACE trim for low- or high end conditions fundamentally changes the sail, which makes it possible to achieve maximum performance across all wind conditions: whether V-Max or maximum passive acceleration, the S_PACE is the most versatile cam sail on the market. The S_PACE combines the top performance of the WARP with a very balanced sailing behavior and a much wider range of use. This is achieved through a greatly reduced and almost straight luff curve in the upper area. This causes changes in the luff tension to have a very large effect on the leech. Low downhaul tension results in a quite tight leech, high tension leads to a very pronounced loose leech. That's why the S_PACE shows a completely different high- or low end performance and sail character depending on the trim:On MIN setting with tight leech, it’s supper effective to pump and accelerates very efficiently.On MAX trim, however, the S_PACE feels very similar to the WARP, constantly getting faster without limits.Our unique hex-screw length-adjustable HYPER CAMS 2.0 allow to find your personal sweet spot between maximum performance and smooth rotation - even under full sail tension. OUR MOST SUCCESSFUL 5-BATTEN SAIL EVER IS BACK! COMBINED WITH THE LIGHT DONE RIGHT CONSTRUCTION AND ALL THE OTHER BUILD CONCEPTS DEVELOPED OVER THE PAST DECADE THE REINCARNATION OF THE DUKE IS SET TO BE THE NEW BENCHMARK FOR WIND-RANGE ORIENTED HANDLING SAILS. Our most successful 5-batten sail ever came back with a bang in SS23, and for SS25 we have given it a facelift!The DUKE combines our LIGHT DONE RIGHT construction and all the other build concepts developed over the past decade to set a new benchmark for wind-range oriented handling sails.When it came to developing the DUKE, it was a 1.5 year project, with you, the final user always at the center of the development. As a starting point we involved “real” end-consumers who use these kinds of sails regularly and our surf centers to define a bucket list for the reincarnation of the DUKE, and here is the outcome and how we went about it:Maximum wind range especially in changing and/or super gusty conditions.This is the most important factor and the major advantage when going for a 5-batten handling sail. As a simple rule, more battens give you more control and a bigger wind range. Usually this has a negative effect on the lowend power as more battens make it harder for the wind to inflate the sail and it becomes less efficient for pumping. Therefore, we have incorporated the BATTEN FREE CENTER concept from the SUPER_HERO. Instead of the usual even batten distribution the DUKE features a bigger gap between the foot batten and the batten above the boom. This makes the boom area easier to inflate plus increases the stability in the top (due to the increased batten density in this area). The second downside is that every batten increases the weight of the sail. That’s the reason why there was a trend towards fewer battens for wave sails in the past years.Superlight feeling in your hands but without falling apart after 1-2 seasons.The reduced weight of 4-batten sails was the major reason for the disappearance of the 5-batten sails in the past decade. Fortunately, we have made some major construction improvements over the last 10 years. The outcome of this development was the LIGHT DONE RIGHT CONSTRUCTION which got introduced in 2022. By replacing the usual multilayer reinforcements with a single layer of high-quality fabric and introducing the ONE PIECE SLEEVE we were able to reduce the overall weight by 300g. Most important we are the only brand out there where these weight savings have been achieved without reducing the thickness of the film and XPly panels. Only this way we can still guarantee our unmatched 5 year warranty. Another issue when reducing the film thickness is that the sail becomes spongy as the energy fizzles out in the increased elongation. This leads to the sail feeling heavier in your hands. So in contrary to others our sails are not just lighter on the scale but especially in your hands on the water when you use them. Cause this is where it really counts!Early planing power even without excessive pumpingTo achieve maximum planing power the DUKE features a high draft distribution combined with a deep profile which helps lifting the board onto the plane.Super neutral in maneuversTo make tricks and turns as easy as possible the sail should go completely neutral during maneuvers. Therefore, the DUKE comes with a more forward oriented draft position. The forward draft turns the power off and goes completely neutral as soon as you sheet out or shift the sail. This results in a much higher success rate.Good lift and control for jumpingThe higher draft position also increases your airtime as it generates lift while the more forward oriented draft position helps you to always remain in control.Maximum range of useOne of the greatest assets of the DUKE is its versatility. It’s pure extasy in bump & jump conditions on your freewave board or as a smaller sail for blasting around on your freeride board. The forward/up draft position makes it also very capable for classic and even new school freestyle tricks. And last but not least it’s a great sail for medium wave and/or jumping conditions especially in gusty or challenging wind conditions. So, the new DUKE is a real all- round high performance contender challenging any handling sail out there.Straight forward and fast to rigWith all the features, markers and hints we have developed over the past 40 years it’s safe to say that there is no other sail which is faster or more precise to rig than a DUOTONE sail. This means even if you aren’t a pro who is rigging and trimming their sail every day you will still achieve the same correct trim. With a radical weight reduction of 450 grams, it is a massive update, as it now has the same ultra-light weight as the SUPER_HERO D/LAB.But that's not all, because all our wave sails follow the same 3 design principles that set them apart from all other sails out there:1_ Wind range This is our top priority. It describes how much wind you can cover with a single sail size. Ultimately, this means how many sails you need in your quiver and how often you have to switch your sail due to changing wind conditions. The most important factor in increasing the wind range is to avoid the sail from stretching/blowing . Lab and on water tests confirm that the total stretch depends mainly on the film thickness. Okay, you can partially compensate ultra-thin film by increasing the thread/yarn density. But the space in-between the threads will always stretch. You want it all: maximum wind range with instant acceleration, completely neutral during ducking without becoming nervous, maximum pop, ultralight but without compromising on durability. Dream on, you may say, but that's exactly the briefing that 2022 Freestyle World Champion Adrien Bosson gave us for the new IDOL LTD. That’s the reason why it took us almost 2 years to develop the next generation of the IDOL LTD. But in the end it turnes out to be the biggest update since its introduction in 2014! But let's take it in order:Ultralight, but without sacrificing durabilityBy reducing the panel layout to its functional core and swapping multi-layer with lighter single-layer high-tech reinforcements, we were able to reduce the weight by another 200g, making the new IDOL LTD one of the lightest Freestyle Competition sails out there. Yet following our LIGHT DONE RIGHT philosophy, we have achieved this without reducing the film thickness, so there is no loss in durability. In addition, we are using our virtually unbreakable Epoxy wave-battens, which can easily withstand even the toughest wipe-outs.For all other aspects, our unique BATTEN FREE CENTER concept comes into play. Instead of the usual symmetrical batten distribution, the IDOL LTD features a larger gap between the foot batten and the batten above the boom. As there is a larger area without battens, the sail loads up much smoother, which has a tremendous impact on the performance:Increased wind-range with earlier planing and instant acceleration as sail loads up faster. Plus more control as the sail can absorb the chop and has more release.Much easier to duck, as the sail goes neutral but loads up much smoother after ducking. This is completely new compared to the usual radical on-off that you are used to from other Freestyle Competition sails.Increased lift for air moves due to super efficient loading of the profile.Helps the sail to remain loaded up to maintain stability.Lighter feeling due to better release.This all may sound like we’ve found the holy grail of Freestyle Competition sail design.
