The Essentials Cardan base plate combines the Unifiber tendon-joint core with a mechanically hinged top section.
Suitable for all windsurfers, this base plate is particularly popular with windfoil enthusiasts. Thanks to its cardan hinge, rigging the sail, whether on the beach or in the water, is simple, with no need to flip the board over or manually bend the tendon.
Built around a high-quality TPU tendon, the core is secured by two large-diameter custom bolts, ensuring easy tendon replacement without risk of damage.
The U-Pin section is made of robust stainless steel for long-lasting durability.
Made from durable POK engineering plastic, the base plate is ergonomic and easy to unscrew, even after intense sessions. The POK disc includes an EVA layer and a guide knob, offering excellent grip on the board.
For extra safety, a Spectra safety line connects both the top and bottom of the base plate, capable of withstanding up to 650 kg breaking load.
