All ION Lycras are made from a highly elastic SpanFlex UV mesh. The feel of this premium material makes all the difference! They can be used to protect against wind and UV radiation and as protection against abrasion, and they also work very well as an extra-thin layer under a wetsuit.
FEATURES AND MATERIALS:
Flat lock: flexible, non-irritating seams
Slip loop: every ION rashguard is fitted with a fine loop designed to tie down boardshort drawstrings and stop the garment from riding up
Sunglass loop: a small loop at the neck of ION wetsuits and tops for attaching the ION sunglasses safety line
UV protection: UPF rating from 35 to 50+ (depending on the color of the mesh - the darker, the higher).
