Built to Get Out and Stay Out
Before you can ride a wave, you have to reach it. A fast rocker line gives the Xwave V4 genuine acceleration off the beach and strong upwind mobility — both critical when an onshore wind is pushing you back towards the shore break. The board repositions quickly between sets, so you spend less time fighting your way out and more time choosing where to be.
Momentum Through the Turn
Moving the widest point forward shifts how the Xwave distributes its outline curve. The result is significantly reduced drag through deep, wide bottom turns — the board holds its speed into and through the arc rather than stalling at the critical moment. When conditions give you a clean wave, the Xwave carries the momentum to use it.
Back-Foot Drive When It Counts
As wave quality improves, the Xwave adapts with it. The tail narrows just behind the back footstrap, paired with a subtle tail kick. This combination shifts the board's turning character — allowing the rider to drive harder off the back foot through both bottom and top turns when the wave shape demands it. The response is direct without being nervous.
Set Up for Your Conditions
Single fin or tri-fin — the Xwave V4 accommodates both configurations. A larger centre fin suits powered, gusty days where tracking and drive matter most. Switch to a thruster setup when the conditions clean up and tighter, more pivotal turns become possible. The choice stays with the rider.
