Description
The Raceboard UNI Essentials tendon joint (U-pin) is designed to be compatible with Exocet RS 380 boards, as well as raceboards from most other brands.
Simple and reliable, the tendon joint is positioned very low, creating a more direct connection between the rig and the board, making it easier to "close the gap". Inside it is a high-quality TPU tendon, secured by two large-diameter custom bolts, which make it easy to replace without the risk of it coming loose.
The U-pin section on the top is machined from a single piece of stainless steel, ensuring long-lasting durability. Despite its strength, the Raceboard UNI tendon joint is lightweight, weighing around 50 g less than competing products.
To ensure smooth movement along the mast track, the tendon joint is fitted with a high-quality nylon bearing.
For extra safety, the top and bottom parts of the tendon joint are connected by a Spectra safety line, capable of withstanding a breaking load of up to 650 kg.
